3 things i love about james today

1. He thinks I look pretty (hot even!) pregnant and tells me all of the time. And he takes such good care of me.

2. He is good at his calling and gives his all to our Ward, he makes personal sacrifices to do so.

3. He is the best dad and uncle around. Honestly, he is amazing. I can't wait for our new baby to have HIM for his daddy!

october (in reverse order)

October is one of my favorite months...the leaves were beautiful down our street this month, I turned 35 years old, we had 3 weekends with the boys and started eating pumpkin goodies again. What's not to love about October?
Pirates again this year

Dad and I hosted a mystery dinner...

everyone had to make selections and didn't know what they would be eating

Leah was pretty happy with her Halloween dinner

It wasn't too crazy, but everyone had fun. It was an easy way to do something different for the holiday and Sunday dinner

Carving pumpkins (our friend Summer is on the right, she is from China. This was her first time carving a pumpkin. She has only been in America for a few months)

Boo!

Mom joined me at the Pumpkin Push this year, we walked 2 miles together

The Nylands ran the 5k, can't wait for Xander to join me next year!

The 2nd week of the month we went to The Farm in Snohomish to get pumpkins (and take pictures). The Farm was extremely crowded this year, but it didn't even matter because the weather was AMAZING! I love this little tradition we have every year.

All of the "Farrars"
This is Clara per usual

Playing in the corn maze

Emily and I (notice the people behind us, it has never been like that before)

We stayed home on Saturday for General Conference. During the Priesthood session the boys and I went to a little pizza party at the park with women and children in the ward, it was super fun. Sunday we went to my parents' house for the day. We ate lots, played conference games and listened to a prophet's voice.

A couple months before Conference Aidan asked me when "Bingo Sunday" was. At first I didn't know what he was talking about, then figured it out...we play bingo at Conference. Funny.

Silly bands

did you hear?

A baby is coming to our house....a new Quigley!!! We are all so excited to see our baby in January (or February if he/she takes too long to cook in my belly). I'm 15 weeks and doing well. I have evening sickness, but it's really not too bad. I'm treated like royalty at my house, all 3 boys spoil me. It's heaven (well other than the baby growing pains and the weight gain).

summer

I get to be a stay-at-home mom for a good chunk of this summer. I love it. Life is great. Although it's hard and exhausting at times, it's my all time favorite job. We have been focusing each day on a "Quigley Quality" (happiness, helpful, etc.) and just remind the boys through out the day that "A Quigley is happy, make sure you're being happy" or "thanks for being happy guys, it makes our home such a great place to be." Happiness was the easiest quality we've done all week, gratitude was a harder for our little one to grasp. But, overall it's been great.

I also work in the afternoons Mon.-Thurs. so that is especially when life is chaos. Today, however I don't nanny. I'm just a mom and I love it. Nothing huge planned, I made fresh blueberry muffins and sent all 3 boys away for the morning. The house is quite (except for the dishwasher washing) and I love it. I feel so much peace in our home and feel so blessed to get to be a wife and a mother. I am pretending there are not 3 loads of clean clothes stacked in the bedroom to fold, those will have to wait for YET another time. I'm off to run errands and gear up for an afternoon of " A Quigley is creative." We will be getting some more LEGO'S and creating all afternoon long.

Enjoy the day, wherever you are.

my weekday job

These are the boys that I get to hang out with during the week. I have been a nanny for many, many years and this is my 4th year with these guys. Am I lucky or what? Ha. They are pretty good. Most of the time. They started to like skateboarding, it's more of an obsession (especially for the big one) than a casual interest. I have a feeling that I will be spending most of my summer at the skate park. Rad!

...We Did!

The Party did it, a 10k that is! Thanks for the support husbands, we loved having you there with us (maybe next time Travis will join us).

Andy, Emily, Nicki and the Quigleys

Before the fun!

These 2 rockstars ran the WHOLE 6 miles plus!!!

Sweaty hug! We did it!
